The Student Directory / Facebook provides a powerful for students to find classmates and professors to view their class rosters. Utilizing multiple filter types as well as keyword searches, the Facebook should prove to one of the most popular portal applications.
The default page lists all students currently enrolled in the law school, including international program students. Just like the contact pages for staff and faculty, a preview portrait is displayed when the cursor is hovered over a name. Filtered results display up to 20 thumbnail portraits at a time.
Faculty and staff also have the ability to print out the student Facebook. If a search is made, only those students who fit the search criteria or filters will be printed. The print request itself actually creates an organized and formatted PDF on the fly, with each student arranged alphabetically on the page.
