Book Buying / Selling
A greatly requested feature has now been added to the Portal roster: the ability to buy and sell textbooks online. This bulletin-board style listing lets fellow students know what books you need and what book you would like to sell to other students, without any middle man adding to the cost of the sale.
When a student wishes to buy or sell a book, they need only fill out a simple form that asks for information on the book and a price the student is selling it for or willing to pay. The system is completely student-driven, so the burden is on them to remove a listing once a buyer or seller has been found.
