Color Palette

USC Cardinal (Pantone® /PMS 201C) must be used prominently in all color applications as it is the strongest visual link to the USC brand and is required for color reproductions of the USC Law signature. In addition to the primary USC palette of Cardinal (Pantone®/PMS 201C) and Gold (Pantone®/PMS 123C), the USC Law identity system provide a palette of complementary colors that will enhance the USC colors while establishing a distinct visual identity for USC Law. Consistent and prominent use of these colors will help unify USC Law publications.

*Note: For uncoated, spot-color applications, a special mix should be used as no Pantone® (PMS) uncoated accurately reproduces USC Cardinal or Gold. USC Cardinal should never be screened, either for print or web use.

Secondary palette

Colors for the secondary palette were carefully selected to convey a bold, contemporary sensibility. All of these colors complement the primary palette, particularly USC Cardinal, and each of the secondary palette's colors will work well in projects that must be designed in just two colors (black plus another color).
