How to Connect to Remote Desktop

NOTE: To connect to the USC Law Network from home you must have Windows XP Professional installed on your home machine.

  1. Go to the Start menu >> Accessories folder >> Communications folder >> Remote Desktop Connection.

    Path to Remote Desktop
  2. A window will appear. Enter your computer name followed by .usc.edu

    Login to Remote Desktop
  3. A Novell login window will appear. Login as you would at work. You may have to repeat this two or three times due to issues between Novell and Windows, but it will work.

Let us know if you experience any problems.
