Fred Fenster, a shareholder at Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff, resolves complex business disputes for a variety of clients, ranging from private individuals to multinational corporations. As an adjunct professor at USC Law, he teaches Pre-Trial Advocacy.

Throughout his career, Mr. Fenster has represented technology and entertainment companies, real estate developers, banks, municipalities, educational organizations, retailers, publishers, radio networks and professional service providers. In addition to his expertise in litigation, he also specializes in arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Fenster has successfully tried nearly 100 cases concerning business contracts, unfair competition, trade disparagement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and interference of business relationships.

Mr. Fenster received both his B.A., magna cum laude, and his J.D., Order of the Coif, from USC. He recently was featured in “Madison Who’s Who” for outstanding achievement and notable contributions to the business community. In addition, he recently was named a “Super Lawyer” in the field of Business Litigation by Law & Politics and Los Angeles Magazine, a distinction that only five percent of lawyers in a region can earn via independent research and polling of their peers.
