Paul Hoffman is a partner in the Venice-based law firm of Schonbrun, DeSimone, Seplow, Harris and Hoffman LLP. He is the former Legal Director of the ACLU Foundation of Southern California and the former Chair of the International Executive Committee of Amnesty International. He has litigated numerous international human rights cases in U.S. courts, including Sosa v Alvarez-Machain before the U.S. Supreme Court.  He has taught at many law schools, including Stanford, UCLA, Oxford University and USC since 1996.
