Craig Cooper is a lecturer in law at USC Law teaching contract drafting and negotiation. He is the Chief Legal Officer of Roll International Corporation and its affiliate businesses, which include the following: FIJI Water, the largest imported bottled water in the United States; Teleflora, the largest floral wire service in the United States; Pom Wonderful, the largest integrated company that processes, juices and markets fresh pomegranates, pomegranate juice and pomegranate tea; Paramount Farming Company, the largest grower of almonds, pistachios and pomegranates in the world; Paramount Farms, the second largest processor of almonds and the largest processor of pistachios in the world; Paramount Citrus, the largest grower and shipper of fresh citrus in the United States; and Suterra, the largest biorational pest control company in the United States. Mr. Cooper leads a 50+ person in-house legal department, which includes 35 lawyers plus paralegals and staff.
In 2002, prior to joining Roll International, Mr. Cooper was a partner in the corporate group of Loeb & Loeb LLP in Los Angeles. Mr. Cooper also worked for Orrick in Los Angeles and Kaye, Scholer in New York. At these firms, he handled work in a multitude of disciplines, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, bankruptcy, real estate, and general corporate transactions.
Mr. Cooper received his B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern California and his J.D. magna cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University), where he was a supervising editor on the Cardozo Law Review.
