- Roll Call Jobs - Includes primarily Washington, DC opportunities in areas such as law practice, lobbying, legislation and policy.
- The State Department - This site provides links to various U.S. government agencies, NGOs (Non-governmental organizations associated with the United Nations), multilateral organizations and other related web sites working in population and migration.
- State Public Interest Research Group (PIRG)- Group web site for the various state PIRGs, provides job listings at State PIRGs, news releases, and links to individual State PIRG's web sites.
- Thomas - Provides legislative information on the U.S. Congress.
- USA Jobs - The U.S. Government's official site for jobs and employment information. The site lists all of the federal positions that are approved by the Office of Personnel Management. While not every federal position is listed (many are on the individual agencies' sites), it is a good starting place for those interested in permanent employment in a government position.
- U.S. Courts - Web site for the Federal Judiciary that links to The Federal Law Clerk Information System, offers a national database for federal law clerk employment opportunities. Allows visitors to search by circuit/court type, judge type, location, name, starting date, and deadline date.

- The American League of Lobbyists - The national professional association dedicated exclusively to lobbying.
- Lobbyists.Info - Site contains Washington representatives online with more than 17,000 individual lobbyists, 12,000 client listings, 800 PACs and 175 legislative offices in the executive branch of the federal government.
