Who is eligible:
Any firm, corporation or organization with two or more USC Law alumni is eligible to participate in the Law Firm Challenge if they have at least one person willing to serve as a Challenge Representative. He or she will be responsible for encouraging fellow alumni at the firm to make a gift so that together they can achieve 100 percent participation.
Competition Categories:
Firms compete in 3 groups, based on the number of alumni employees. Group I (30 or more alumni), Group II (30-11 alumni); Group III (10-2 alumni).
Dates of the Law Firm Challenge:
The Challenge runs between April 1 and June 20 but any gift made to USC Law between July 1 and June 20 counts towards an individual's participation to the Law Firm Challenge. All gifts must be received by June 20 to be counted.
How Gifts Can Be Made:
Gifts received online are the most immediate way to make your participation count but you may also:

What Counts Towards Participation:
Any monetary gift made to USC Law by a graduate from July 1 to June 20 counts toward this year's Challenge. This includes payment on a pledge (including the Class Gift Program), a gift to your law school class reunion, or any other gift made to USC Law's Annual Fund.
Tracking How Your Firm is Doing:
Throughout the Challenge, we will send you periodic updates on how your firm or organization is doing. You can also track your progress online by visiting our web site (law.usc.edu/LFC).
How to Win the Challenge:
Firms and organizations win when they reach 100% participation, meaning every alumni employee has made a gift of any amount this fiscal year.
Recognition:
Firms and organizations that achieve 100 percent participation will receive special public recognition, including:
- Signage prominently displayed in common student areas at USC Law, inside the Career Services Office, and during on-campus interviews in the fall
- Public recognition in USC Law Magazine, the Alumni Connections newsletter, USC Law's website, eNews, our annual donor report and in an advertisement in the Daily Journal
We will also acknowledge every donor by sending them a thank you letter for their contribution.
