Law Firm Challenge 2010
The Law Firm Challenge is a competition designed to give alumni at law firms and organizations an opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and promote giving to the Annual Fund in a fun and challenging way. Alumni in participating firms, companies and organizations compete to win by encouraging 100% of their colleagues to make a gift of any amount to USC Law. Winning companies and firms receive special public recognition and alumni donors at those firms are individually acknowledged and thanked for their support. By participating in the Challenge, graduates will help USC Law be one of the very best law schools in the country, strengthen the legendary Trojan Family network and enhance the profile of the graduate’s own law firm and organization.
Why the Law Firm Challenge?
Reason 1: Increase Participation and Operational Funds for USC Law School
The Challenge seeks to raise USC Law’s operational funds as well as alumni participation rate. Participation is the percentage of law school alumni who make a gift of any amount to USC Law each year. It also affects our ability to raise money because it is looked to by corporations and foundations as a measure of alumni satisfaction when making decisions about directing their gifts to USC Gould School of Law.
Reason 2: Promote Your Law Firm, Corporation or Organization
Firms, corporations, or organizations that participate are acknowledged through thank you publications seen by alumni, students, faculty, staff of USC Law, as well as the legal community. Some benefits include:
- signage prominently displayed in common student areas at USC Law, inside the Career Services Office, and during on-campus interviews in the fall
- printed announcements in the Deliberations newsletter, USC Law's website, eNews, and our annual donor report
Reason 3: Strengthen the Trojan Family Network
The Challenge is also designed to build and highlight the legendary USC Law Alumni network. This friendly competition gives graduates an opportunity to unite where they work under the common purpose of supporting their law school. Participation in the Challenge sends a critical message to our fellow students and the entire legal community - our alumni support USC Law.
