"I am very grateful for the education and opportunities the Law School gave me and I want to continue to support the school in a meaningful way. Especially today, when the cost of a quality law school education has risen so significantly, the importance of our Tournament's scholarship assistance to deserving students is even greater than in past years. In addition, the Tournament provides an excellent way for graduates, faculty, and supporters of the Law School to stay connected both to the school and to each other while enjoying a great day of fun and camaraderie on the course and afterward at dinner. I encourage anyone who hasn't joined us before to do so now. I can assure you it will be a win-win experience for you and the Law School."

"I have always been active in USC Law Alumni activities - as President of Legion Lex, Chair of the USC Inn of Court, 1970 Class Representative (and reunion organizer) and, of course, the Sydney Irmas Golf Tournament. I enjoy my ongoing association with classmates and other alums and I enjoy helping the Law School however I can. I was privileged to benefit from an exceptional legal education (supported by Legion Lex scholarships in my second and third years) and want to express my gratitude in a way that will give others the same chance I had. I also love the competition of the tournament (however unsuccessful I have been in the past). I really feel this is my year to win (or at least get third runner-up)!"

"The Sydney M. Irmas USC Law Golf Tournament is obviously very near and dear to my and my family's heart. Two of my father's many passions were playing golf and the USC Law School. I have fond memories of playing golf with my dad especially at the USC Golf Tournament every year. It means so much to us that this tournament is named after him and that all the participants come out every year to help support the Law School. Thank you very much."
