Orientation

Orientation activities are planned for August 17-21.  The orientation sessions are carefully planned to help you make a successful start in law school.  Although formal classes do not begin until Monday, August 24, this week of Orientation is the official beginning of law school and your attendance is required.

All students should plan to attend one Pre-Orientation Session on August 17, 18, or 19and Orientation Day on Friday, August 21.

The pre-orientation session will allow you to take care of many important details related to enrollment.  You will have an opportunity to settle your tuition bill, receive your class schedule, buy books, obtain an ID card and locker, pick-up your parking permit, and set up your email account.

Registration

First-year students are assigned courses and sections that will be scheduled daily between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. We expect first-year students to devote their full attention to their legal studies. First-year students are not permitted to hold part-time employment during the school year. Because of the nature of the first-year curriculum, we will not be able to make changes in the assigned course schedule to accommodate non-Law School activities.
