For 27 years, the Institute for Corporate Counsel (ICC) has been the premier event at which in-house and outside counsel gather to compare notes, keep abreast of key legal developments and network with colleagues. The 2008 Institute will combine sophisticated and practical continuing legal education to provide the latest information, perspectives, and strategies for dealing with the evolving challenges of corporate representation and governance. The full day program focuses on business law topics will including updates on the economic forecast, tips for dealing with auditors, corporate governance, picking your jurisdiction, arbitration and litigation, a review of ethical issues from the General Counsel's perspective, and a guide to advising a client about opening a business in Los Angeles. At lunch our Institute keynote speaker will share his perspectives. We will close the day with a reception featuring a special guest speaker.
The Institute is presented by the USC Gould School of Law Continuing Legal Education Department and the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Corporate Law Departments Section.
